Payment Gateway Providers in India
December 20, 2009 in General, Uncategorized by tdomf_d87a1
Hi,
Can any one suggest a payment gateway provider. I run a online portal and want to receive online payments. Few things abt my requirements:
1. I am expecting money in USD as well as INR
2. Looking for some thing which has minimum upfront investment.
Any inputs would be highly appreciated.
cheers!
Krishna
try ccavenue… http://ccavenue.com
they allow international cards. dont know if they allow USD biling.
Check out http://www.merchant-solutions.biz from standard charted bank and First Data Services. Their TDR is good, but setup fee and AMC is higher compare to others. I think you can negotiate the setup fee.
Just checked they (CC Avenue) do offer USD billing as well.
FYI: if you are ready with all documents and payments they can take you live in 48 hours. The fastest/efficient Indian finance/tech company i have ever come across. They are ready with every thing anytime. FTW!!!
CC Avenues is good but 48 hours is a dream….typically they will take at least a week if not more provided all papers are sent to them (which in itself is a daunting task).
Try http://paymentrus.com which can search scores of national and international providers and serve you the best options to choose from. Indian Providers are like Desi tharras compared to Johny Walker imported
Disclaimer: I have only used one provider in the past – DirecPay
Having said that if cost is a concern, ccavenue is also the costliest. Recently EBS seems to have come up with some interesting trade off plans (trade off between TDR rate and upfront payment). For absolutely minimum upfront cost for the same TDR, DirecPay still wins but no USD billing with them.
I would suggest using Paypal for USD billing – you are exposed to conversion rates but it is not too bad.
